This year St. John’s is participating in Holidays in the Heart of the City on Friday, November 20th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. We’ll be offering games for kids in Gissendanner Hall and seasonal music in the sanctuary, and we’re looking for volunteers for both.
Saginaw County Parks and Rec is lending us their oversized games (thanks to Brian Keenan–Lechel), and we’ll need people to help run those activities (under the overall supervision of Marcia Hoffman). We’re also looking for people to make music to keep the holiday mood going. We’d be grateful for volunteers beforehand to set up the various activities, help decorate the church, and make signs to welcome people in.
Volunteers please contact Marcia Hoffman (989-274-0423) or Jane Girdham (989-295-0043).
