Our fall stewardship campaign is underway!
This is the time of year when we take stock of our blessings and gifts and how we can give back to St. John’s. We have many blessings for which to be thankful. Our rector has been with us three years and our average Sunday attendance is up from 70 prior to his arrival to around 100. Our choir continues to bless us each Sunday and we help support four choral scholars. We have many outreach efforts underway and continue to search for other ways to interact with our community.
We also have our challenges. We are down from three staff members in our office to one; we would like to take care of the employees we have. Our building, while beautiful, is a treasure and a responsibility. Our community’s needs are growing with the dependence on our lunch bag program and many other opportunities for outreach.
Your Vestry asks that you prayerfully consider how St. John’s has blessed and nurtured your life and give as generously as you can. We would like to have the pledge cards returned on November 9th for a blessing.
