Rev. Ann Grady's comments on St. John's

“Are you considering a new call? If so, have I got a parish for you!

St. John’s Episcopal Church, located in Old Town Saginaw, MI in the Diocese of the Great Lakes, is seeking a priest in charge. I’ve supplied at St. John’s two Sundays a month for the past two years. The parish, which averages 40 on Sunday, gathers for traditional (Book of Common Prayer, Rite II) worship and outstanding music.

If I were a few years younger I’d apply for the position myself.

Instead, I invite you to consider joining the people of St. John’s in building and strengthening relationships; creating a safe and welcoming place for our LGBTQ+ siblings and other marginalized communities; and strengthening youth and adult formation.

All of this while living in a vibrant Saginaw Valley that includes the cities of Saginaw, Midland, and Bay City. The area offers a rich variety of cultural, recreational, and natural attractions. And if you’re a foodie you’ll think you’ve died and gone to Heaven.

Have I piqued your curiosity yet?

If so, I encourage you to visit the St. John’s website at stjohns-saginaw.org where you can find the parish profile.”
