Major Chords for Minors is a local non-profit that offers free music lessons to Saginaw City students from 3rd to 12th grades. Teachers and students work out of a small studio just off Court Street and currently have a wait list of over 100 students. We are delighted to tell you that the Community Room at St. John’s will be the rehearsal space for a new Major Chords for Minors choir, directed by SVSU music and music education majors. They will rehearse from 5 to 6 on Tuesdays beginning in early August. We look forward to letting you know about their first performance, possibly in October.
